Ivana Conte

Ivana’s 25 years of international experience paved the way for setting up the academy, with a vision to change the future of fashion education and foster talent growth. 

 

Her career spans roles from Creative Director and Brand Manager, to Founder of her own successful womenswear brands. Ivana's journey through fashion began at a young age: surrounded by a family of industry professionals. With an education at fashion schools in Milan and London, she cut her cloth as a creative entrepreneur.

 

Alongside her industry roles, Ivana has carved a career in fashion education. She's lectured, mentored students, designed academic programs, and managed fashion schools in London and Italy, including Regent’s University, Rome’s Accademia del Costume & Moda, Rome as well as Istituto Marangoni in Florence in the role of Director of Education. 

 

Ivana in her education management experience has led a faculty team of over 100 professionals and academics, achieved outstanding academic results for the students and established industry partnerships. She shared her insights as a keynote speaker at conferences, championing innovation and digital transformation in fashion.

 

Ivana is driven by her mission to reshape the future of the fashion industry. Her advocacy centres on creativity, innovation, and sustainability, emphasising the role of new technologies in tackling global challenges. She brings this commitment to a sustainable future to her direction at ILA.
